Realizing you already have more than enough suggestions I would just emphasize two shows I think already have been mentioned but that are every bit as good as any of those stellar 70's shows (and know that i am a staunch fan of the 70's, especially 77 as the peak Dead years):

Baltimore Civic Center 4-19-82
and
Hampton, VA. 5-1-81

Besides being impeccably played shows there are also 2 outstanding AUD copies of each available here on the archive, and that combination is fairly rare now that the SBD's are gone.

5-1-81 is especially critical if you're a fan of ALTHEA, LET IT GROW, DEAL, BIG RIVER, and first sets in general...

4-19-82 has the (in)famous "RavenSpace" in which the boys indulge in nitrous on stage and Phil quotes from Poe. All of which overshadows the fact that the show is incredible, especially the 2nd set which features one of the best ESTIMATED's ever, along w/an amazingly beautiful STELLA BLUE, terrific WHEEL, and much more.

You cannot go wrong w/either of those shows and you can DL them forthwith!

GC - you're ticking my boxes there and thank you. I do like a rabble-rousing first set and a good romp through Althea, Me and My Uncle and Big River is always a good thing in my book.
RavenSpace has been on my list of ought-to-listen-tos for a time. The fact that you say there're also a few other gems there is all the more reason to get down to it.
